Description

MASTERSEAL 435 SB is a specially formulated polyvinyl acetate polymer ideally suitable for surface stabilisation of sand and consolidation of sand or soil. It dries to a transparent film and has high adhesion characteristics.

Mixing ratio

For fine to average dust control mix 1 part of MASTERSEAL 435 SB to 5 parts of water.  

Application procedure

 For fine to average dust control MASTERSEAL 435 SB is mixed by adding water in the proper quantity and then sprayed immediately on to the surface of the soil through pressurised nozzles or sprayer and at the desired application rate. Penetration depth will vary according to the type of soil and the quantity of the liquid applied. MASTERSEAL 435 SB cures to maximum strength within 24 hours of application†.

Coverage

Typically MASTERSEAL 435 SB mixture is applied approximately at a rate of 5.0 Litre/m2. Depending on the condition other rates are possible after successful trials.

Storage

Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperature.  Failure to comply with the recommended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product or packaging.

Shelf-life of original unopened container is six month from date of manufacture when stored between 5°C to 30°C.

Safety precautions

Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin.  During application always wear gloves and appropriate clothing to minimise contact.  In case of contact with eyes, immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.  Should skin contact occur, wash immediately with soap and water.  Seek the advice of a physician should symptoms persist.
